Need a freeware/cheapware application for Today screen

I want to begin to use my voice recorder for those profound in the car inspirations. I will likely need something that reminds me of my recordings. There used to be a freebie for that (it never matched the background on your today screen but what the heck, I need something)

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I used to love this one, too. I'm a bit fussy when it comes to interface, so it gets under my skin looking at its icon now, which doesn't match the others. Also, I tried it again recently and it kept telling me I had voice recordings even when I'd cleared them out. That might have been a one-off, but it was enough to get me to uninstall it.

If someone were to update this program, I'm sure lots of us would be happy!
