Active Sync PPC-6700 Won't Stop...

I did a basic search but trying to juggle a keyboard and my 10 month old daughter isn't paying off.

My PPC-6700 will sync but it will never stop syncing. Anybody heard of this? Ideas? Suggestions?

The continuous synchronisation feature you see is a part of ActiveSync 4.x.

Or are you referring to it starting a sync and never finishing?

She starts up and never finishes. The little green icon spins and spins and spins and spins and spins and spins and (you sick of it yet? boy I am :lol: ) spins and spins and spins and well anyway. I think you get the idea.

Every once in a great while it will sync all the way. It also will not quit telling me that Windows Media Setup is Required even though I've completed the setup.

Aside from that I'm TOTALLY PLEASED with the 6700.

I had the same problem with only my office computer and the PPC6700. All of my home machines worked just fine with Activesync 4.1, and the office machine would sit there as you have described. It has been working fine since I reinstalled Outlook on the office machine.

The PPC6700 has been my best PDA/Phone so far. I really don't use the keyboard much, since I have Voice Command installed. My only beef is that WM5 and Activesync 4.1 no longer support synching Pocket Access data. I'll have to rewrite one of my apps to use SQL Mobile. More to learn!
