I have just changed the name of the folder where all my ringtones are to 'Ringtones' and now i cant access them from the settings to change the ringtone
what was the orignal name of the folder so i can change it back

I've only played with the built-in ringtones, and they seem to be in the \Windows directory.
There's also a folder called Rings, but it's empty. Maybe that's the one you're referring to?

what are all the folders in there?

There is probably a registry setting that points to this folder. Do you remember its original name?

By default the phone will look in \Windows\Rings for the ringtones, so if you changed the name, change it back to Rings and you should be fine. I've added files (such as the one attached) to my \Windows\Rings folder and can use it fine as a ringtone. Use File Explorer to navigate there.

ive solved my problem but im currently looking for where i can place a small audio clip so that it will be played when i recieve a text message
any ideas????
