Activesync shifted all my birthdays

Activesync shifted all the birthdays in my contacts one day earlier. I saw one other entry in this forum that mentioned "birthday shifting bug" but haven't seen anything on how to solve it.

Check you time zone settings on both the desktop computer and the handheld. If they are different, that could shift your appointments to different times.
