missing memory

I like to try alot of the software out there. I find after i've uninstalled software i installed on the devivce itself (as opposed to on the sd card) I never get the same memory back. For instance...i tried pocket informant....i had 21mb free....uninstalled pocket informant and now i have 19mb free. I tried to do a soft reset but it never comes back. I even deleted the folder that the program left behind...and nohting helps. Is there a way to get my memory back?

This happens with all the programs i try....i dont want to have to do a hard reset to just get my memory back....please help.

I found a free program called FastCleanup that works really well... I fully expected it to either destroy my system or basically do nothing, but it actually freed up enormous amounts of memory without damaging anything. (Your mileage may vary, of course.)
