Let me go out on a limb here, but I'll bet a broken 2215 that it won't work with your PPC. Just because the standard used is 802.11, doesn't mean that it is going to be as easy as creating an ad-hoc connection between camera and PC/PPC, opening a file explorer and browsing the camera. My guess is that there is some proprietary software to load on the PC (or Mac) that handles the connection chores and there isn't, or won't be a PPC version. Be cool if I'm wrong, but creating a 'WiFi' enabled camera that is likely targetted at the masses, probably has something other than having to set up an IP address and a normal Ad-hoc connection to get it working. Folks who buy this too take pictures, and transfer them to a PC or printer are not going to put up with what we go through to connect a PPC to a PC over 802.11.
In this case, I'd expect a BT enabled camera would have a better chance of PPC compatibility. You put the camera in discoverable, pair it to the PPC and use Obex to move the pictures, much like you would with a cell phone.
