Hey PPCliker,

I still have my 5550/5555. I never carried it around much, but I do still keep it for gaming. It's got the best D-Pad for old-style fast paced games. It does not have a Jog-dial, but it does have both the D-pad and a button on the top left that changes the volume but can be configured for up-down scrolling. If you want to use CF cards with it, you'll need a sleeve, and I don't know if you'll be able to find one easily (check eBay). The device uses SD cards only AFAIK (don't have it on me now, but I'm pretty sure no CF slot).

No CF slot, only an SD slot.

I still haven't found a replacement for my 5550; it's just that good. It's sitting in front of me as I type and there are very few places that I don't take it.

:D There are still one or two others around these forums that still swear by their iPaq 5550s, though.

I bought a mint used 5550 recently ($200) and am VERY pleased with its large RAM, great Wifi reception and speed running WM2003.

What type of warranty is the seller offering? There is always a gamble when one buys used equipment.
