The LG KC8100 features an Intel PXA272 416MHz CPU, 64MB RAM, 128MB Flash ROM, Bluetooth 1.2, 802.11b Wi-Fi, IrDA, USB1.1, CDMA support, a 2.4" QVGA (240 x 320) 262K-colour TFT-LCD, a miniSD slot, dual cameras (front and back - 2-megapixels and 3-megapixels respectively), and a slide-out keypad. I'm sure we'd all love to play with one, but er... these things tend not to venture out of Asia. So, let's just settle for the eye-candy at AVING.net.

TWO cameras?
Why? Is the one on the front for video-chat? Is this realistic, or just a gimmic? Heheh, where's the fm tuner? :devilboy:
You have to hand it to Korean, Chinese and Japanese companies, though. They keep on pumping out the tech. Innovation through attrition?

Apparently, the front camera IS for video conferencing. It's probably not a gimmic since S. Korea has implemented high speed data in their wireless phone networks already. The internet community there is highly developed with entire apartment complexes hooked up to wired connections with T1 speeds. Video chatting is apparently quite popular there, so wireless video chatting wouldn't be much of a streatch.

I dont know..but why pocket pc phones are apearing with so small screens is beyond my opinion. I'm already not satisfied with my magician's screen size. Dont you guys think that ur eyes will hurt. Also it really a hard task to tap on such a small screen on the move with a stylus.
Just my thinking..on the brighter side, this looks like a 'cute' devise

Builds of Windows Mobile 5.0 are device-specific, so unless LG releases an English ROM, you won't be able to flash the device with one.

like its already mentioned, its a pretty nice phone but i dont know about a 2.4" screen in a PPC, its just too small, other than that its sooo cool. anyways, i just hope they make these stuff available for North America :(

That agreement confers non-obligatory rights to develop and market Palm OS-based devices. So, LG is still welcome to use Windows Mobile where they see fit. The downside is that almost none of these devices make it out of Asia.
