Beat me to it. :) I was going for 1600x1200.

My tech resolution is to do more with the photos I take, i.e. working on them more in Photoshop, printing them, exhibiting, sharing and selling them.

And a very happy new year to you too Darius, along with everybody else. Saw the pic and thought 'hey - you got to go to Sydney???' but then noticed the CNN link :)

Anybody doing a review of the new Atom soon?

My main gadget-related resultion is to finally take the time to learn how to use all the nifty features on the gadgets I already own, rather than lust after the latest and greatest upgrades.

Otherwise, it's the usual stuff... work out more often, lose some weight, take time to enjoy life rather than be steamrolled by it.

Oh dear, I just understood the joke.

Perhaps my resolution would be to think faster. And while I'm at it, 1920 x 1440. ;)

HAPPY 2006 from start to finish to you all!

I've been far too sedentary at my computer so I got a Casio LK 45 key-lighted keyboard. Think I'll be sitting on my duff less? I doubt it.

Gadget related: To find a way I can delete a voice mail message from way back on 5/20/05. It's driven me crazy for 7 mos.

2.) Find a PDA with longer battery power.

Happy New Year!

My resolutions are to lose some weight and enjoy my 470x for what is: a well-engineered platform that will accomodate the WM 5 upgrade and serve me well for another couple of years. It is by far the best Pocket PC or WM device I've ever owned; nice job, HP!

First of all I'd like to do the usual: More sports, get fit and a bunch of other things that you might as well read about at http://www.43things.com/person/gubbe .

On the tech side I'd really like 2006 to be the year where I post a review on http://jakob.thusgaard.com of a device which can do GSM, GPS, bluetooth, IR, GPRS and is a smartphone a la Qtek 8310.

I'd also like to split up the posts on http://china.thusgaard.com to reflect the individual days on our China cycling holiday back in 2005 and potentially make a blog for the diary about our France holiday in 2004...

Nuff to do !

This year I want to return to the PPC fold. My last PPC was the iPAQ 2210, and I sold it to a buddy after experiencing too many issues with iSync on my Mac.

Right now, however, if you use a Mac and want a WM2005 device, you can only synchronize with Virtual PC, which I don't have or want. I learned this the hard way after picking up an iPAQ rz1950 for 300$ at Staples on boxing day.

I suspect that once the intel based Macs are released (next week I hope) the first beta of the new Missing Sync will be out with WM2005 compatibility, and I will start my hunt in earnest. Of course, that widescreen iBook may lure me and my dollars away if the rumors are true.

Yea, Yea, Yea....

Take better care of myself, workout more, drink less....blah,blah,blah.

Oh and take my tech addictions to the next level, bigger, brighter, faster.... less sleep, more play..... Now let me see if I can launch the space shuttle with my i730.....
