<a href="http://ssl.webis.net/index.php?cPath=21">http://ssl.webis.net/index.php?cPath=21</a> <br /><br /><i>"Its a good time of year! My 10th Wedding anniversary is later this week, we had a great Christmas, and I've got my coffee in hand :) To celebrate, we're offering 65% off all WebIS products at our store until the end of the year!"</i><br /><br />WebIS makes popular software like Pocket Informant, Journal Sync and WebIS Mail. Alex is dropping 65% from the price between now and December 31, so if you are looking for a great PIM, a way to supercharge your inbox or anything else his software can do, now is the time to act. Just use the coupon code <b>9d406f</b> when you place your order and the discount will be applied during the checkout. Note that the code is only valid for the WebIS category on that page, which should show 5 products.

Okay! Okay! I'm *DEFINITELY* interested in doing some purchasing.
I have one question though...
Is WM2005 supported? I didn't see that in the WebIS Mail page but it specifically said 02/03 supported...
I'm itching to spend but not on something *not* supported...
Ideas suggestions? Anyone? :)

WM5 is not supported with Mail at this time. We are in beta testing of 2.2. 2.2 will be WM5 compatible when its released.
To be more precise, version 2.2 works on WM5 devices now but you miss the addressbook, SMS/ActiveSync email integration, and some of the notification bubbles don't look right.
When we have a WM5 build for 2.2 in the beta, we'll be posting it publicly as soon as we can. 2.2 was scheduled for Q4 of 2005 release but due to the complexities of WM5 changes to ActiveSync/SMS and some very directed debugging we're doing its been moved to Q1 of 2006 (hopefully earlier rather than later).

I just bought an Axim 51v with WM5. Is it possible to get a raincheck on the discount for the WebIS Mail until it's available? Is there another option?
Thanks!

We offer discounts from time to time as a matter of course. That's really all I can say.

With regards to the previous questioners post me thinks that 65% off might just include an upgrade to WebISMail(WM2005) when it's ready and if it doesn't the upgrade price will most likely be less than the current price at 65% off plus the upgrade price.
It's still a great time to license a copy even if it has to sit on the shelf for a bit.
- Just my two cents of course.
But, my order will be coming soon.

Anyone know if Money is WM5 compatible?

We have Money 2.2 Beta 5 or 6 up on our public beta forums and it is WM5 compatible.

Thanks Alex.
Edit: Alex, can you point me to where I can find out how to import my MS Money data into WebIS Money?
Edit 2: Never mind Alex. I read the Beta 4 thread.

Merry Christmas to me.
Merry Christmas to me.
I just placed my order,
Which I'll now have to track in WebIS Money!
(But first, I'll need to schedule time in Informant to perform the data entry. :) )

Great news, but is the Treo 700w 240x240 screen supported now as well?

PI supports the square screen. Mail 2.2 betas should - as far as we know. So does Money 2.2 and Toolbox 3.01.

How long after I send my payment via PayPal will I get a registration code?

It shows up immediately on the page after the paypal confirmation page. Make sure you didn't close the paypal page though.
The way paypal works is after the paypal payment is made you have to press the continue button which is what sends the store the signal that you've paid. Then the store will give you your codes on that page.
Unlike normal CC authorization which transmits data at the server level which allows the store to know if a payment went through or not on its own, paypal requires the user to do the work of letting the store know that the payment went through by clicking the Continue button on the paypal confirmation page which passes to the store the transaction ID in a secure fashion.
Its the one major flaw of the paypal payment system for stores - we only support it alongside our normal CC payment because we found many customers asking for it.
If you ended up not pressing the continue button, then you'll have to forward the paypal email you got to the support tech and he'll generate the codes for you. Unfortunately we can't do it for you without that because the paypal email our store gets has nothing to tie to a specific order so I couldn't tell what you purchased and the order is in limbo at the store itself because it was never told that the payment was completed.
Hope that makes sense. Its almost not worth doing paypal because of the hassle above. I plan to add a popup message to paypal customers to make sure they press continue at the end to our store, but I'm very hesitatant to mess with our store's code when I've been holidaying.

Ok, I didn't realize all of that and I don't believe a page came up with the code so I will send an email right now. My mistake!...I think...

I just wanted you and everyone reading to know how helpful you have been in helping me to get the code to register after I missed the instructions and code when using PayPal. I really didn't expect it to work out this quickly...thanks again.
If it wasn't for this promotion I might not have ever tried Pocket Informant. I am glad that I have it now. It is really nice to use, though there is a slight learning curve, and more functional than the OEM software. Let's see if I actually need all that it can do...
