Hi,
I'm looking for a software to capture a screen shot of PPC to make a student report.
Please advise me some good softwares, freeware or trial will be fine.
Thanks a lot.

There are a few applications out there - some work over ActiveSync, others are designed to run directly on the device.
For an ActiveSync solution, you can try GetPDAScreen. (http://www.newmad.se/getpdascreen.html) But to my understanding, it's not 100% compatible with VGA devices.
For direct device solutions, there is MagicSS (http://www.louterrailloune.com/index_old.php?page=magicss) and Resco Photo Viewer (http://www.resco.net/pocketpc/photoviewer/default.asp), to name a couple.

Virtual CE Pro lets you take screen grabs and movies of your device, and control it from PC, all via AciveSync or LAN (e.g. over your Wi-Fi network)

And it works on VGA

Thank you very much Darius Wey and SteveHoward999.
That's really helpful for me.
GetPDA screen seems to easiest way to use.

I currently use the "screen capture" app which comes with resco photo viewer
After capturing the screen shot, it asks you in which format do you want to save the file. So its better than all others.

So its better than all others.
Pocket Artist lets you choose what format the image is, so does Virtual CE. The advantage with virtual CE is that the file is automatically saved to your PC ... usually I have absolutely no need to save a screen shot to PDA, becuase I want to use it on the PC to create a report or add the image to a web site. It's great to not have to copy the images over the the PC.
What is better depends on what you need :-)
