I've continued playing with the new version to find out whether the above-mentioned enhanced JavaScript support means generic JavaScript enhancements or just Yahoo Mail-related ones.
I was really happy to see that the JavaScript support has really been enhanced. With RedHotPawn.com, a strictly JavaScript-based Internet chess game (one of my favourite JavaScript compliance-tester site), which doesn't at all work with PIE and earlier NetFront versions, works flawlessly with TP 1.03.
(See the original, now extended blog entry for additional stuff & screenshots.)

Continued playing with the new version and found out that it's able to use file attachment upload at both Yahoo Mail and Gmail (both in standard - that is, not the mobile-optimized versions. See BTW http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&title=the_mobile_version_of_gmail_is_here_a_re&more=1 for a new review of the mobile version of Gmail), unlike PIE.
Added this information too to the review.

Thanks for posting this. :) I'm looking forward to the release now as I have NF 3.2 but have avoided trying 3.3 because I thought I would lose some features. I thought the TP version was fairly well restricted.

Does anyone with x50v have "freezing up problem" with this version. The previous version freezes up my pocket pc after loading a page.

You can safely install 3.3 on the same device where 3.2 resides; they won't interfere in each other and can be used independently of each other.
