Has anyone had the problem of MS IE constantly replicating itself? A nonstop of opening new windows? I have terminate IE through the Task Manager in order for it to stop.

Are you implying that you're having new IE windows constantly being created without any user interaction, or is this after you, say create a new "tab" using the MSN Toolbar plug-in?

If the former, I'd give your computer a scan for any ad/spyware. Nasty critters, they are. Chances are, there's a bot on your computer programmed to launch multiple instances of iexplore.exe. I can't really think of any other cause.

sounds odd...it's happened on most other Windows computers I have had...

Well, for what it's worth, I've never seen this behaviour exhibited on all the computers I've used.

I've seen that. Not recently though. It's definitely spy/ad/malware related. Try Ad-Aware and Spy-bot Search & Destroy to get rid of it.

Yea, I guess it's got to be something. I've ran AdAware and Spyware. I mostly got cookies and MRU Lists (?)... Are there other good spyware programs or are those the best out there?

Microsoft AntiSpyware is the best I've seen:

Those are the most popular as far as I know. Try the Browser Hijack removing program over at Merijin.org (http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/index.html) in Downloads and definitely check his forums list for some online help in removing this annoying junk.
