Ok, I have had a PPC Phone device on different networks for the past 1 1/2. I think that they are great, but they all seem to be a ppc with a phone app loaded on.

Anyway, I have the Samsung i730 on the Verizon network now and although I think it is a very decent device for a pda, I cannot get reception worth squat!

Where I live in the phone switched between roaming, extended network and SOMETIMES the actual verizon network. When I have a tower less then a mile from my home!!!

Anyway, Verizon has replaced my unit three times. So I am done with this ppc combo.

I want to get a RAZOR, not because of the cool factor, but because the other forums and the reviews say that as a phone goes (reception, sound quality etc) that it is very decent.

Anyway the one thing I have gotten addicted to on the Samsung is the slide keyboard. I love it.

Can anyone list some pda's that have the same type of keyboard, or any integrated keyboard??

What I am planning on doing is just connecting the pda and the razor via bluetooth the whole time so that I can still get my email (having pocket outlook) schedule to check for mail every 10-15 min etc.

Being able to surf the net etc via the bluetooth connection.

Can anyone make any suggestions??

Thanks

Are you sure that that's the right kind of tower? If it's a GSM tower, it won't help you at all.

Unfortunately, most of the existing PPCs with built-in keyboards are phones of one flavor or another. All I could recommend would be to consider keeping the i730 or another PPC phone and tethering it to the BT phone. The other options would be a device with an attachable keyboard, like the Axim X51v, or an older and somewhat less capable machine like the iPaq 4350.

Death to toasters! Particularly the chrome toasters. Before they learn to walk, and shoot people.

I have checked with Verizon, the local offices, other local offices for other carriers, it is a verizon tower.
So I am at a loss.

I agree....toasters should not come in Chrome at all. People say the government is the enemy....I say it is the appliance makers!
