what software would the Samsung S3C 2440 400Mhz processor be compatible with? ARM/Xscale?
or is it something different?
i know this is a really stupid question but nonetheless..

I suspect you're asking because of programs designed for ARM/XScale processors? To keep things simple, the Samsung S3C2440 CPU is considered to be an ARM processor, so a lot of today's programs will work on it (including the M600, which you've been asking about). ;)

As darius wey said it is an arm processor(just checked)..so it should support the latest stuff

All PDAs running Windows Mobile use ARM processors since at least the Pocket PC 2002 OS era, and all XScale processors are ARM processors - the builds for other processor types (e.g. SH2, SH3, SH4 etc) are for backward compatibility.
