PalmGear uses voted it as their top travel application of 2004. If you're doing all that travelling then you can probably cover the asking price as well. It's $74.95, including a one-year subscription. You can get a trial version <a href="http://www.mobimate.com/ppc_pro_try.shtml?filename=windows_pc.jpg?filename=windows_pc.jpg">here</a> and you can buy it at <a href="http://www.handango.com/ampp/store/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?siteId=311&productId=93538&productType=2">Handango</a>. It's $74.95, including a one-year subscription.

But iirc, the last version was a whopping $90 whereas the version before that was in the $30 range. So at least this version is priced better than the last version, especially considering what the competition charges.

I wouldn't mind a one-time fee of $75 (well, OK I do :) ), but not yearly. Just the same, since I already own the Standard version, I emailed them to see what an upgrade would cost.

Seems to me the price and yearly subscription is for the OAG access. You can get OAG by itself, but it is $39 per year per region of which there are 4 so this is a better value if you do world travel. Myself, I find that it is rare that I change international travel plans while enroute, but having access to US flight schedules is very handy. My big complaint with this application is in having to enter all of the itinerary data manually. These days it is easy to sync flight, hotel and rental car data directly to outlook where I then have access to it on my today screen via PocketBreeze. Some of the other features are nice, but you can get elsewhere in what is for me more useable applications. I use SPB weather along with pocket plus, I use City time for time zone and currency conversions. I think I will break down and get the OAG north america, but as of today I download the flight schedules directly from the airlines I fly as they all have PDA versions now.

Now, if they made a good today screen plugin for this and a way to pull in itinerary items from outlook, it might be more useful to me.
