Downloadable WM5 Upgrade KERFLOOEY?!?!?

Sorry if I've missed this somewhere, but I've just had the goofiest problem with the WM5 upgrade for the HP hx2755!

The HP web site offers either a CD or downloadable upgrade. Being the impatient enthusiast that I am, I opted for the downloadable version. Once I got the 317MB file on my PC, it turned out to be the FRENCH version. I double-checked that I had selected the "worldwide English" options, and even tried to re-order it. Each time I selected the same English menu item, and each time I got the French-only file!

Am I the only person this has happened to?

You should get an email from HP stating that their site was fixed and that you can reuse your original download link to download an English version. Same thing happened to me...

Let us know how it went for your 2755. I upgraded my wife's 2210 to WM5 and she seems to like it. Want to wait to see if anyone has any issues (power users) before I bump mine to wm5...

Hey win mobile 5 is not avaliable for ipaq 2210..where you got it from. I conjure its ipaq 2755(and not ipaq 2210) :?: :!:

I think he meant the hx2110, not the older h2210.
