Samsung i730 Flash Player or no Flash Player

Talk about frustrating! For a company like Macromedia that actively wants market pen in the mobile world, they sure make it difficult to figure out how to find the right player.

I just bought the i730 and tried to install the Pocket PC Flash Player. I got a message that it was not a valid Pocket PC Application. The Macromedia site SAYS they support Pocket PC Phone Edition 2003.

So does anyone know the deal? Does Flash work on this phone or not? If so, WHAT version do I install? These guys are going to lose to JAVA FAST if they don't get it together.

This is the version you should be downloading:

It's a desktop installer, so you'll have to run it on a PC and have it install on your device over ActiveSync. You can't copy the EXE over to your Pocket PC and attempt to install it locally.

And that applies to about 99% of Pocket PC software - almost none come as ready to go executables.
