the k-jam has the 2.5mm jack, so I plugged in the ppctech's 3.5-2.5mm adapter (same one used on my PDA2K), but only getting sound in Right earbud.
is the K-Jam not stereo or is the jack different requiring another adapter? :?

The jack should be stereo, but I believe it has a different pinout configuration to the PDA2K, so you'll probably need a new adapter.

really hating these little adapters. And to make matters worse, I cannot order from PPCTECH'S with my PPC. The "checkout" button doesn't work. :evil

Don't worry. I'm in the same boat, cursing the lack of interoperability left, right and centre.
My M600 also uses a 2.5mm jack, and when I use my old iPAQ's 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter, I only get sound through the right headphone.

Assuming it's possible to get a 2.5mm stereo jack from an electrical parts retailer, then surely the best thing would be to make up a short 'flying lead' adaptor with a male 2.5mm stereo jack on one end and a female 3.5mm stereo jack on the other? It's not a particularly difficult soldering job, the parts will be very cheap and you won't end up with an inch of solid plastic stuck out of the side of your PDA (adaptor plus headphone jack). Also, when the next piece of kit comes out with yet another different pin-out configuration <sigh>, you can modify your home-made adaptor to suit in a few minutes.
