Important advice to TCPMP+PIE users - read this if you encounter "missing download dialog box" problems!
I've just found a decent solution to the "download dialog box is missing in PIE after I've installed the latest version(s) of TCPMP" problem. To avoid having to maintain it (updates, additional comments etc) on several PPC sites parallelly, I've "only" posted the tutorial in my Pocket PC Magazine Expert Blog at http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=310&more=1 .
