My JarJar (JasJar) has a resolution of 640x480 pixels which is great... however, in landscape mode, about 15-20% or more of the screen is taken up by the obnoxiously large menu bar at the bottom, and the program bar at the top. Yes, in IE, I can go "full screen". But is there any tweak or app that allows me to permanantly reduce the size of these space-wasters?

Yes and no. There's a display known as true-VGA which pushes the device's VGA screen to its full potential. Unfortunately, for Windows Mobile 5.0, it's a very "hacked" job if you wish to achieve that effect, but if you execute it properly, you'll be able to reduce the size of the taskbar and command bar, and also have more screen space.
