Help, please?

Out of necessity I carry a lot of sensitive data in the SD card of my PDA (e310), and I am constantly worried about security. I use Folder Lock on my laptop and external drive, but what can I do to ensure the data on my SD card are not accessible to unauthorized parties? I can lock my PDA, but not the SD card.

Any suggestions, please?

Thanks!

I know this is not the answer you want, but I have some sensitive info I keep on my SD as well. I use Resco 2005 which has encryption. I just encrypt the data and its safe.

Of course its a manual process to encrypt, decrypt but really is not too bad.

There are some security products out there that will lock your PDA, encrypt the cards, and so forth. I used one on a Palm platform for quite awhile, they are available for PPC as well, although I have no experience with them on the PPC platform, so cannot speak to them there.

it's $50, but well worth it

there's a desktop version too

allows creation of an encrypted VOLUME on the device

way easier (therefore more likely to use) than individual file encryption

hope this serves your needs
