does anyone know of a battery replacement that is 1800mAh or 2000mAh and doesn't require a new back because of a bulky battery?

I've had my pocket pc for a little over 2 years now, and the battery is still holding up good. Unfortunetly, I keep forgetting to properly close Activesync after using the bluetooth on the device and get to work the next day with a dead ipaq. I really need to stop doing that. Stupid thing keeps turning on every 5 minutes to check for a network connection till it is all out of juice. Ahh well..there are already lots of threads that go over this issue.

If I had a second battery at least I would have a backup. Looking around I've found some 1800mAh ones and 2000mAh. It would be nice to have a larger battery capacity, as 900mAh isn't very good if I watch any video on the device.

Unfortunately more capacity is acheived by more chemicals...read bigger. Why not just put the thing in the cradle overnight?

Dang.

Well, if I'm not stupid about it (and disconnect properly from activesync when I'm using bluetooth), my ipaq lasts me about 3 days before I need to recharge it. And I'm kinda weird about making sure the battery is below 20% before I recharge it.

The common scuttlebut on LiIon is that they don't require you to drain before recharging. I have pretty much followed that advice, sticking mine in the charger when I get home regardless of how much they have been used. I haven't noticed any particular degredation in capacity when I do use them more on some days than others.

You could of course get a second battery but I don't recall if the 1900 series cradles (if they even had cradles) had a secondary battery charger on them. If not, that would mean you would have to juggle to make sure the second battery is charged, since you could only do it in the device.
