Hi!

Late this year or early 2006, I'm buying a Smartphone.

The competitors:

SonyEricsson P990
Qtek 9100

Both have up and downsides for my use.

The most importent; I have to be able to transfer pictures from my digitalcamera (Canon EOS 350D) to the Smartphone as easy and fast as possible. One way is using a memory card adapter, but it must be a cable out there? Much easier, doesn't need to hassle with different cards and adapters.

Anybody who have a solution?

Other must have's: Bluetooth, 3g, WiFi.

I'm hoping someone can help my make the right choise.

Are offcourse open for other brands.

All input will make my day!

:D :D

What ever you do checkout treoCentral website for phone deals. They offer the same price for the Treo 650 that you can get by going directly to Verizon, Cingular, or Sprint, but.........they also include large rebates....up to $200.

It's a no brainer.

You need to transfer images from the 350D to the phone? The 350D uses CF, right? You need a phone with a CF slot, like the old E-Ten (which wasn't a very good phone). The old XDA accepts a CF adapter, I think. Otherwise, the phone won't hold too many images.

But if the 350D can use an SD/adapter, that may be a better solution than using an adapter on the phone.

P990 is probably memory stick, most others use SD.

Check out the sleek Motorola Moto Q. No CF slot either, but sure looks sleek.

Thanks for the help.

The phone doesn't need to hold lots of photo.
But I want to be able to transfer photo's from the camera to the phone as fast and easy as possible, so I can send the photo's in emails or load up direct to a server.

Seem's like an adapter is the solution...

Heard that Windows Mobil 5.0 is gonna support ekstern harddrive, printer...
If that's correct I guess it will suppport a camera also...

Somebody who know's?

Just noticed that you already have a 2210.

Guess you can just take the 350D's CF card and put it in the 2210. What you'll need is an SD Wi-Fi or a bluetooth phone to send the pic.

Or you could use the 2210 to bluetooth the pics to the smartphone and e-mail it from there.
