i-mate vs. Qtek support

I'm in the USA & planning to get HTC Universal.
I like the Qtek's appearance more, but it seems to me I read here or somewhere else that i-mate was better for support, such as supplying ROM updates.
Opinions anyone?

go take a look at the howard forums there is big talk about this issue. there was a big incident with horrible support from imate. check it out.

I already took the plunge and went for i-mate based on their history of being good about ROM updates. I hope I won't run into the support problems some have had. So far I'm loving my jasjar.
