I recently picked up a Jornada 680, just for fun. I have an x50v myself, but I've always wanted to pick up an H/PC.

Only problem is, nowadays it's harder and harder to find software for "software repositories" for handhelds using H/PC Pro (SH3).

If anyone can give me some decent links, I would be very greatful. 8)

Try over at HPCFactor.com. There is a fairly active forum of HPC users there with a lot of links to HPC software.

That site seems to be only for Jornada 7xx :(

I did find that hpcfactor site, but was hoping there was maybe another big site or two out there still :|

Google is our friend!

You can also try download.com. Their PocketPC section can be filtered (at the bottom) to show Windows CE 2.xx.

Also, if there is some kind of software you are looking for just post in the forums at HPCFactor and you will get the heads-up on it.

The Jornada 680 is older and there are not a ton of sites that are maintaining lists of software titles. Software is still available for most of what you want to do, you just have to ask others to help you find specifically what you are looking for.

Have fun.

Ok, It's been awhile since I posted, and I have since additionally aquired a Jornada 728. I have now started a project to house all HPC2000 and earlier software (as much as possible) in one place. It's a work-in-progress :)

Hello,

I also have an HP 680. I recently launched a web site with software that I have found for Handheld PCs and Pocket PCs. I have 3 CDs of software for the 680, and haven't sorted through all of it, so if your looking for something specific, just drop me a line.

Enjoy.
