Just how secure are programs like eWallet? Can they be hacked if someone gets a hold of a PPC or PC with the .wlt file on it? My wife is paranoaic about my having all our private info/numbers on a file that gets copied back 'n forth between the desktop and the PPC. :deal:
What is the best way to secure the software? :?:

The security of wallet-type applications is largely dependend on the password that you choose. A "real hacker" can crack a weak password quite easily. A weak password is any password that has just eight characters or less or that is just a word that can be looked up in a dictionary.
Check out Subsembly Wallet at http://subsembly.com/en/wallet.html . This application tells you exactly how secure your wallet will be and how long a hacker would need to crack it.
(Disclaimer: I am the actual developer of Subsembly Wallet, thus please excuse my shameless ad. There may be other wallet applications out there with a similar feature. If you find one - please tell me.)
