axim x50v cpu speed

what do you guys think is the best setting for the cpu speed?

auto, normal, or max??

power save i dont think is a good option.

I suggest leaving it on Auto - that way, the system modulates the speed according to the device's needs.

The X50v doesn't exactly have a great battery life to begin with, so putting it on Normal or Maximum wouldn't be the best of all moves. Power-Saving mode is good if you want to save battery, but it will make the device very sluggish.

Power-Saving mode is not really that good an idea in my opinion. In Auto mode, the CPU can throttle down to as low as 104MHz; whereas in Power-Saving mode, the CPU is running at fixed 208MHz. So you'll be draining the battery unnecessarily during the time when you're not doing anything much with your device.

yea auto mode does a pretty nice job in stepping speed up and down
