Can anyone offer advice on how to make the h3850 Wi Fi?
I've upgraded it to Pocket PC 2003.
Now, I'm having the hardest time determining what's needed to make it Wi Fi. HP has been zero help...suggesting a WL110 PC card that isn't available any longer...
CF cards aren't compatible, at least not with out some kind of expansion pack, but which one?

The 38xx series doesn't support any SDIO devices so the only option is to use the HP Compact Flash Expansion Pack if you can get hold of one (expansys no longer have them)

Maybe something like this http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=IPCFMS or this http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=124500

Then get a CF Wifi card like I did.

You might use the PiTech expansion pack rather than the HP/Compaq. It costs less and offers nice options, like an extra 2200 mAh battery and 2 CF slots. I used it with my 5450. It even supported a CF GPS.

if you want to stick with hp branded products im sure there is some older cf expansion pack plus sleeve out there. i had one of those. those have removable batteries in them too.
