Hi!
To US owners of PPCs - does anybody know a nice drug database for PPCs that uses all advantages of VGA?
Thanks in advance! :)

Unfortunately, there are very few, if any.
Most are built around the Skyscape engine which has poor VGA support, and other stand-alone applications just weren't designed with VGA in mind.
Whatever the case, I think Epocrates Dx (http://www2.epocrates.com/products/dx/) is one of the best drug database applications out there, so you might want to check it out.

Doesn't have VGA support that I know of but I use LexiDrug Complete with built in Griffin's 5 Min Consult. I also use Tarascon. Both are great for different reasons but neither are VGA that I know of.

What a shame that even one year after introduction of VGA based PPC there is hardly to find any software that takes advantage of that.
Especially when you think of the fact that PalmOS is dying and most of the medical software is mainly supports PalmOS (with high resolution applications). I cannot understand why the developers do not react... I hope WM5 will make a differnece.

Yeah. I would like to use MDX and/or Epocrates DX again; however, neither can be put on a card yet (at least not on a ppc). But none of these support VGA. It will likely be a long time before they do. I don't think that is high on their list of priorities. :?

When I reviewed Epocrates Essentials last year, I was assured by the development team that storage card support was high on their list of priorities. I haven't checked whether it's been updated to support it, but if it hasn't, that's terrible. :( Not everyone has the luxury of a lot of onboard space to install the program and its ever-expanding databases.

Unfortunately, they've been telling me for almost 2 years that it was high on their list. 8O I'm not too worried. It's kind of pricy and I get Lexi Complete free through the hospital I work at anyway. Still, I'd be using Epocrates too if they'd get support for cards.
