Hi all

I've got an HP 6340, :| (had it a while now and things have moved on). Anyways, I don't reckon there'll ever be an upgrade to WM 5 for whatever strange corporate greed driven reason - so I'm stuck with PPC 2003. :(

I suppose I'm happy enought with PPC 2003, but there's one thing that has annoyed me ever since I got it. Start menu font Size. :?

It's annoyed me as I can't change it, I've spent literally weeks trawling through the registry but can't find anything, only color and 'system' font. hmm?

I'm just about to resort to doctoring the font itself , something I can do, but thought maybe someone here has cracked it. Thanks

It's not possible on WM2003/WM2003SE devices to change the start menu font size. (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=40056)

Please read this thread (http://www.pocketpcmag.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=15752) on WM2003 font size setting capabilities (they are pretty restricted).

Have you considered a skinning program like WisBarAdvance? It can skin the start menu and you can change the font size to your hearts content in the skin file.

Wisbar creates its own start menu - which is completely configurable, down to backgrounds icons and fonts. And yes it does work with WM2003 and 2003SE.
