Hello all...

After some reading on ActiveSync via Bluetooth I have decided to give it try, since the OEM sync cable is just as expensive.

My question is... should I buy BT V1.2 for maximum future compability? or just settle for 1.1?

My PPC is iPAQ h2210.

Thank you

Your iPaq only has BT 1.1. In any event, it makes no difference, since the minor differences between 1.1 and 1.2 would have no effect on syncing.

If you want a suggestion, I just got a Bluetake USB dongle (BT007Si) from the top guys in this list

I was a bit apprehensive with the ThemalTake name on there, but the picture and part # were right, and the $19 was worth the risk. It's the right thing.

I just did the regular shipping and it came within a week. I wasn't in a hurry.

The BlueTake has about as complete a set of profiles as I've seen. It set up easily, I set up sync with my rx3715 easily and it even works with my HP BT headphones.

You can save a few bucks by getting the BT009Si, as I don't think the PPCs have but a Class II Transceiver, but i figured I'd get the stronger one, just cuz.
