I have copied some mp3 files in jam. Before it was opening directly with media player whenever I tap on the mp3 file. But now it stops opening those file with media player, and now whenever I click on the file it give this error message:

"There is no application associated with "Filename". Run the application first, then open this file from within the application."

Now everytime I have to open media player first then only I can play the file. What should I do so that whenever I click it should directly open with media player?

You probably installed another media player, and then uninstalled it, which removed all the associations. If you have resco explorer you could tap and hold on an mp3, and chose open with from the menu, and then chose media player from the list, which should restore your association.

You can also use GSfinder, which is free, to recreate the association.

NO Surur, I don't have resco explorer, is there any other way to resolve this problem?

You can download it here: http://www.pocketpcfreeware.com/en/index.php?soft=1203

1. Select the file you want to open
2. Hold on with your stylus until a menu pops up
3. select Open>Choose program
4. Check "Always use this program to open these files" at the bottom.
5. Find the program you want to open the mp3 file in the list. If you can't find it, click browse and locate the program manually.
6. select the program and click OK
You're done!

Hope this helps.
