Hi everyone,
Has anyone ever use World book encyclopedia? Is it good? Anyway, my question is that does it contain EVERYONE volume of world book series? (history, medical, science, etc.) After all, $49.99 is a lot. Thanks!!

Patrick

Patrick,
I reivewed the World Book Encyclopedia 2003 edition back in June 03. Here's the review (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12485&highlight=).
Since that time, TomeRaider has come out with version 3 and Wikipedia has come out with a downloadable version of their encyclopedia. That being the case, I cannot recommend the World Book Encyclopedia with nearly the vigor that I rave about Wikipedia. It covers more topics with greater depth. Only drawback I've found so far is the sheer size of the file. The last time I downloaded the file it was over 800MB. Since I only have one 1GB card, I opted to stay with my slightly older copy which is a little over 500MB.

The World Book Encyclopedia is NOT a complete set of encyclopedias. It's pretty much a desktop reference.

Ditto you can now also get a copy of the Wikipedia with images at this (http://members.chello.nl/epzachte/Wikipedia/Order.html) adress. It will however cost you.
