[b]I-Mate SP2 won't reload software???[/b]

I have a I-Mate sp2, on start up goes to boot loader and only shows smart phone v 1.04 doc in red/green/blue, serial shown at bottom when pluged into cradle changes to usb but unable to load software- connection failed notice- any thoughts help please. :idea:
