Hello all!

I am an avid eBook reader but have always downloaded to Adobe on my laptop. I'm in the market for a device, but am clueless as to which one to buy. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

obviously, this being a pocket-pc forum, you will get pocket-pc recommendations :)

you'll get the device for reading mainly, but you'll notice that you'll do much more, such as keeping track of your appointments, tasks, contacts etc.

you should probably start with a low-budget pda.
i'm a great fan of the HP iPAQ h4155 and it's cheaper "brother" the HP h1940 that's available for around US$225.

but it's best to go to a store and play around with different PDAs.
you might find one will fit your palm better than the other, or you prefer a bigger nav-pad (the up-down-left-right directional "joystick") to a scroll-wheel for your thumb. compare the weight, the looks, etc.

if you want to throw out your cellphone as well, get an all-in-one device such as the MDA or even ms smartphone.

decide upon two or three, then post your favorites here and people will tell you which one is "better".

You may also want to consider a device with a scroll wheel, which is very helpful for one handed reading on a PPC!

With my 'old' Ipaq 3870. I change pages with the right bit of the 4 way button. That make it also a one handed job.
The maket is large. As is said. Try before you buy.

At about $250 now, the Asus A620 is also, a device worth considering. I also recommend reading through some reviews on whichever device you decide on prior to your expendature.
