Ages ago when my main PPC was the HP3970, one of my favourite today screen plugins was World Today (http://www.freewareppc.com/clock/worldtoday.shtml). I bought an hx4705 last year and World Today (http://www.freewareppc.com/clock/worldtoday.shtml) doesn't run on PPCs with the newer O/S.

I've got other apps which can show me the time in different timezones, but I really want one that displays it on the today screen. Can anyone recommend a replacement?

World Today is freeware, which is cool, but I'm happy to pay a small amount for a new app, especially if it has more features/functionality than World Today. Ideally I'd like one that can work out for itself what the time is when I input a city. In World Today you have to tell it how many hours ahead/behind each city is.

Thanks,
Jasmine

I hate to even mention this application... but you could always use Today Plus and tweak the skin to do what you want.

You can find more details here...

Check the Hammerskin forum... to get an idea of what can be done.

Idealling I'm looking for something which I can just install and go, and not have to tweak or fiddle around with. I will have a look at the one you suggested though.

Thanks,
Jasmine

CityTime by Code City <www.codecity.net> has a Today Screen plugin that displays the same information that World Time does. It's $15, but it's a great app. and it's the one I use. WorldMate by Mobimate <www.mobimate.com> also has a world time Today Screen plugin, and it displays weather conditions for your selected cities as well, but it costs $30.

There's also Fizz Traveller (www.fizzsoftware.com/), for $20. It has a bit more eye candy than CityTime but iirc also has a bigger memory footprint.

I forgot about Fizz Traveller. It looks nice, but I find it a bit slow even on my X50V. I do like Fizz Weather, however.

Spb Time's screensaver mode http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/time/screenshots.html?en allows the display to be the World Time display, and there's apparently going to be a Spb Time plug-in for Spb Today http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/pocketplus/plugins.html?en
