I came across this E-Book, which lately has been creating buzz, called
BURNY MADDEN. Just finished going through it, and it's material that's
really worth recommending. See for yourself and check it out at

Yes, King values it higher than I so he can keep it as far as I am concerned. :)
He is a good writer, but ...

Jorgen

CORRECTION: it is not a Stephen King book!

No, the author is Gil De Palma (http://www.gildepalma.com/) and his website for the A Tale of Two Sites (http://www.ataleoftwosites.com/ataleoftwosites.html) has a really asthetic page turning book done in Flash (.swf).

My wife wants me to do something like this for her poem book.

$40!!! Good grief! Print on demand?

Well, as far as I can see, he is a totally unknown author (this does not mean he is not good), generating interest for his book 1) by letting his main character write to Stephen King. This means that if someone searches for "Stephen King", this book is among the hits!

2) Apart from this, he generates advertising by posting at various forums: "Have you heard about this young man who is afflicted with chronic spontaneous human combustion?": http://www.google.es/search?q=Have+you+heard+about+this+young+man+who+is+afflicted+with+chronic+spontaneous+human+combustion%3F&sourceid=mozilla-search&start=0&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official

3) And he has a cool web-site and where the book is Kings name is mentioned and not his. Another "King-hit" in Google.

Aspiring authors: learn! Let your main character write a letter to King, Clancy and Crichton somewhere in the book. Or eat lunch with them in the book. Or ... :)

2 b) And maybe alzglaucoma's post is yet another piece of advertising? (apologies, alzglaucoma, if I am wrong).
