The device is a tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900) phone, and features a touch screen, but not full numeric keypad. For the control of the device there are some 'PDA'-styled keys on the front and the side of the device. On its back it is equipped with a 1.3-megapixel camera with CMOS sensor and LED Flash, which can capture videos also. The memory can be expanded with miniSD memory cards."

Most of the specs overall are pretty generic: tri-band GSM, GPRS, Windows Mobile 2003 SE, 128MB ROM, 64MB RAM, mini-SD card slot, 2.8" QVGA screen, 1.3 megapixel camera with LED flash, Bluetooth, IrDA. The only specs that jumped out at me were USB and the Freescale iMX21 266MHz processor. Freescale? Interesting.

S601 will also be released two month later, with builtin wi-fi.

That cover is quite innovative. Its actually a very pretty device. They better get moving on WM5 though, else they will do worse than they deserve.
