Microsoft reader has too much margins

I find that ms reader has way too much whitespace around the text. I really like its interface and features, just they waste too much space with the margins. Also theres no full screen feature.

Is there a good ebook reader that is capable of converting pdf - > ebook format and changing the font to a sans serif like arial/verdana/helvetica without too much hassle? Also good user interface and maybe full screen support?

Alot of my ebooks are pdfs using a serif font. Serif = gay on screens.
