So how do i remove resently used apps from start menu ??

Any help..Just bought an imate jam and thus unfamiliar with new start menu.

The easiest way is with an app like Tweaks2k2, which has an option to clean the recent program list. This empties the registry keys that hold the pointers for each location in that section of the menu. While you can do this manually, an app that does it for you is much quicker. Be aware that this portion of the Start Menu is dynamic and will be rebuilt by the OS as apps are used. The only way I can think of to stop it is to place enough permanent items in that area (Windows\Start Menu) that there are no open locations left for the recent programs listing.
