Hey all,
Sheesh I finally set aside enough $$ to get a 1gig SD card for my Ipaq 1910. Had trouble from the start, clicked yes to message about formatting the card but would get this message every time I powered up. I installed 'Flash Format' and the card seemed to format fine.
After that there is NOTHING though, it will not detect the card. Not even an hourglass when I insert the card. If it were a desktop I would reinstall Windows, don't have a clue here tho.
I have sooo many things I want to put on there, any help will be very appreciated.
Thanx!

Also unfortunately I dont have a card reader or another PDA to try it. I was able to transfer files to the card after using the built-in format option and could access them, but after powering-down I would be prompted to format again. After using Flash Format nothing shows up. I used the reset button without the card in with no luck. It's a Sandisk card.
Thanx!

Cheap card readers are about $10.
Consider investing in one ASAP!
I've found that PPC formatting tools leave a lot to be desired...Better off using a desktop or laptop...

In the meantime, get your receipt and go back to the store you bought it from and get it exchanged.
If purchased online...find a friendly PC retailer sales associate and have it tested out. If it is "dead" than arrange for an exchange.

Sandisk SD cards are known for their quirks. They are warrantied for 3 years so while inconvenient, it is survivable.
