View Full Version : Alarm indication on today screen??

After a lot of searching I didn't find the answer to this:

I like to have some kind of indication on the today screen (or topbar or menubar) to show that I have set an alarm in the standard PPC clock & Alarms application. For example: just an icon in the menubar will be sufficient.

The main reason to have such indication is to prevent that I forget to switch an alarm on or off.

I hope someone can give me the solution. I've tried Superalert already, but I think this application is too large for only providing an indication.

Thanks

Did you already try AlarmToday? http://www.pocketmax.net/

Thanks to your tip I just tried AlarmToday.
Although AlarmToday indicates that I set an alarm, it takes too much space on the today screen. I tried to make the today plugin as small as possible, but I stick with 4 icons which can't be deleted. Especially the first icon is too big which makes the today-screen cluttered.
Thanks anyway.

Take a look at pTravelAlarm! (http://www.burroak.on.ca/pta.html)

Thank you very much. PTravelalarm is usable, however this application doesn't use the standard Clock & Alarms utility.
I will use PTravalalarm until I find an application which does.

Its supposed to become "skinnable" in the next release so you can omit the button-line alltogether. There is just no ETA for the next release tho...

You may check again in a couple of weeks.

I've found what I am looking for: Todaypak (http://www.eppen.com/todaypak/index.htm) (the next alarm plugin).
Only this application only works with PPC2002, not wm2003se.

Does something similar exists?
