Hi,

I am new to this particular aspect of PPC use so bear with me if I don't phrase this correctly.

I use World Off Line to carry whole webpages in my pocket. The saved pages open in the usual internet browser in WM2003 (I have an ipaq 1935) and I often use NYDITOT to read the pages in landscape mode. No worries there, I love both applications.

What frustrates me is that I cannot zoom into maps or photos using the built-in internet browser. I have tried using various "magnifying glass" applications but I find them a little clumsy. I could also increase the size of the images using NYDITOT but that's laborious, too.

What do others use to zoom into pages while surfing the net?

I understand your problem, but zooming into pictures on a web page is difficult even on windows desktop. With pocketplus you can save the pictures and use the Album app to view and zoom the pictures.

Yes, do what Surur said, with the following additions:

1, if you use PIE for browsing, switch off View/Fit to screen temporarily while browsing the given page. Then, you'll be able to see the image 1:1. After doing this, switch back View/Fit to screen so that the text is (to a certain degree) fit to the screen.

2, if you use any of the PIE plug-ins (including ftxPBrowser) or NetFront (but not with ThunderHawk/Minimo 007), you can save the images for further viewing/zooming into. For this, use, for example, Resco Picture Viewer, XnView or PQV (Album is only present in Fujitsu-Siemens devices), they are all decent image viewers, XnView (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/index.php?action=expand,40951&/a_quick_review_of_xnview_pocket_1.31.htm) even being free.
