View Full Version : Anyone having this problem with eReader?

On my Axim X50v, eReader repeatedly "forgets" what page I'm on. It also fails to remember bookmarks I've created. This seems to happen whenever the program closes. FWIW, both the program and my e-books are in main memory, not on a card.

TIA!

Same here - setting bookmark is sucky workaround. :(

I've actually had it forget what *book* I'm reading. The sad part is, I e-mailed eReader support and they said they're "not seeing the problem at their end." They suggested I uninstall and reinstall, but that was of no help. :(

I'm seeing an issue where my library lists all books as "Not Yet Opened", but once I click on it & click "Farthest Read" it goes to the right page. So far, a least...

The only way I can get it to remember my bookmarks is to actually 'exit' when I leave ereader. Still, whenever I start up ereader, there's only about a fifty-fifty chance that it will remember the last book I was reading (even though, once I reopen the book, it does have the latest bookmark). Even more annoying is that for some reason, when it doesn't remember, it can take two or three minutes to open up and show the bookshelf.

the 'Furthest Read' usually works for me too. I cant wait till I get my PC hooked back up so I can try out some other readers, I am starting to despise MS Reader.

Are we still talking about eReader, here? If there's a "furthest read" option, I'm not seeing it...

Yeah, I read it as "Reader", meaning "MS Reader", not eReader. morphyuz just followed me. Mea Culpa.
