I need a *lean* freeware screen capture program that does PNG or JPG. Anyone?

I did look around, but couldn't find one that just takes a screenshot, saves it in a *compressed* format and then exits.

If you're after an uncompressed format, go with BMP. Magic SS (http://www.louterrailloune.com/index.php?page=magicss) is always great for that, and best of all, it's free.

Uncompressed will be my last resort, but if that's what I'm forced to use, your suggestion looks good. Thanks youQ
I stupidly forgot to mention that I need this for my PPC, not desktop. Bad assumption on my part.
Anyone else know of one that compresses? I want to finish this script I'm writing :)

Not exactly what you describe above, but if you are running Pocket Informant, it will snap a picture of your screen in the background.
