Every once in awhile my IPAQ 5400 trys to connect to a network, and I get a popup message that says the network isn't available. This happens even when no prograns are open, and I don't have any programs that need internet on my Today screen. How can I get rid of this error?

Could be that you have your email setup to check for messages every 15 minutes or so. Check your account settings in Inbox.

You might also want to check the activesync settings on your PPC - sometimes, mobile schedule is activated.

In addition to what Robb and hishamh said, you may also want to check your Today plug-ins, especially Weather, News and Stock plug-ins. Some may also want to connect to the Internet to download new contents.
