Expansys swears they have 17 in stock, so if you've got the $$$ and desire, check it out (If you've only got $$, I guess you'll have to wait until it's release here - no playing around on the expansys "grey market")

Anybody know what the battery life is like? I assume it is unlocked? What about OS upgrade?

I've yet to stroll into my local Harvey Norman (http://www.harveynorman.com.au/viewPage.tho?targetType=claSitePage&target=350&crumbTrail=+Communications+%26+Office+Products+%3E+Pocket+Pcs+%3E+Pocket+Pcs) to check out the hw6515, but I tell ya what: it ain't a pretty price. :|

Ah being on the cutting edge sometimes has it price :D I just ordered one I'll let you know. I may get one for my wife she. I like the built in GPS. She always gets lost. The price is well worth it for her not to call me and ask for directions especially when I am with clients and she doesn't know where she is. It's hard to give her directions when she doesn't know where she is.

I never get lost -- someone is always telling me where to go. :D

My wife has the same problem. I tried to explain the concept of inner and outer loops of the Baltimore Beltway one cold rainy night -- she almost ended-up in PA before I got her turned south.

She has the same problem when it comes to selecting a printer on the home computers -- you never know where it's going to come out.

My haven't we come a long way; mutiple computer, mutiple printers. I remember the good old days - one 10mb monochrome computer and one dot matrix printer and DOS! Ah those were the days - NOT!

Wow! The price has come down!!

Originally, the price was WELL OVER $700US. Now, its $699. I am assuming that the price will drop drastically once they are released here in the US.

I desperately want one for my wife too. She actually asked me to get her a PPC with a keyboard - and this would be perfect. The only thing is - she has no need for GPS or Cell usage. It'd be a PDA for her only as she only wants to use her Razr as a phone.

The 4315 was also a consideration (still is), but its a might too big, I think for her.

Actually I don't think that Harvey Norman Price is too bad. It sits at a lower price than the IIs (normally $1350 I think).

The Japanese have a saying - "Want a thing long enough and you don't."
My wireless contract for the 6315 expires next month and still no 6515 which I really wanted. Recently got Sony's small T350 notebook with Cingular service and while it is more to carry, it also offers more so I think I will drop the wireless on my 6315 and see what comes out in the next few months. Can still use the handheld for anything that is not wireless - games, lists, Word, etc.
