Hi All,
I have been running into a problem with my 3955. Recently it as begun to reset itself while connected to my car charger. It will repetedly reset itself until it is disconnected from the charger. If you disconnect the car charger, the unit will power up and operate properly. Atfter an hour or so, you can plug the charger back in and it will run fine for a few hours and then the cycle repeats itself.
I bought it used off of E Bay over a year ago; the battery is going to need to be replaced soon. I was hoping to find out if anyone has any ideas regarding this issue. If anyone thinks it is worth fixing or is it time to bite the bullet and replace it.
I mainly use it for GPS and Outlook. I will have to get a new GPS device (I have the Navman 3450) if I replace the unit. If I do replace it I was looking for some input. I am thinking of hx 4700-4705 and the Axim x50v and I would like to get some opinons from you folks.
Thank yo very much for your time. Any input will be greatly appreciated. Have a great weekend!
Respectfully,
George D.
