question on Software for Samsung Processor PPCs

I'm looking to buy an HP RX3115 but I'm wondering if all of the software I bought for my Xscale Ipaq will work on this new PPC.

I know that 3rd party apps usually had a version for Xscale and another for ARM, does that mean I will have trouble finding software for the new Samsung systems until the programmers catch up?

Use the Xscale programs without worry. The Samsung and Xscale processors are compatible. (And theoretically, Xscale based units can run the ARM programs without any problems; Xscale versions are just usually tweaked for better performance.)

I'm using an e-ten m500 with a samsung processor and am not experienceing any software incompatibilities.

Microsoft specifies what processor(s) Windows Mobile is allowed to run on. They've specified an ARM based processor, of which the Xscale and Samsung processors adhere to.
